Kent Fisher, a cherished father, son, partner, and brother, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Easley, South Carolina, at the age of 44. Born on May 4, 1981, in Akron, Ohio, Kent's life was a reflection of his brilliant mind, upstanding morals, calming spirit, and humble heart.
Kent is survived by his father, Curtis Fisher and wife Kathy of Landrum, SC; his children, Alli Fisher of Monroe, GA, Jade Fisher and Luke Fisher, both of Greer, SC; Memphis Danielson of Easley, SC; his partner, Lauren Danielson of Easley, SC; his siblings, Zachary Fisher and wife Caitlynn (Vlad, Peydon, Warren, Audrey) of Kent, Oh; Kandis Hull-Fisher and husband Clint (Karoline, Everhett) of Middleburg, FL; Christian Fisher and Andrew Fisher of Taylors, SC; Brett Fisher and wife Macy (Mason Southern, Madison, Brooke) of Greer, SC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Fisher, and his brother, Ryan Fisher.
Kent cherished the serenity of hiking through nature trails, the thrill of immersive gaming adventures, and the warmth of quality time spent with family, especially his children. A keen student of history and engaged follower of politics, Kent held a deep sense of patriotism, always honoring the values he held dear. He found peace paddling through the tranquil waters of Lake Keowee or the Saco River in Maine, and held an unwavering love for animals, treating all walks of life with kindness and compassion.
Above all Kent was a devoted father to his four children: Alli, Jade, Luke, and Memphis, whose lives he shaped with patient guidance, nurturing their hearts and challenging their minds. Kent fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning his own restaurant, Mary's at Falls Cottage, after years of dedication to the previous ownership. Mary's was a historic cornerstone of Greenville, where Kent was dedicated to making it a warm memory to anyone who patronized the business. Kent's natural gift for educating was remarkable, offering engaging intellect with patience and kindness that everyone who sought his insight felt truly valued. His welcoming spirit brightened Greenville, where he gave opportunities to less fortunate community members, offering them not only employment but hope and dignity. At Mary's at Falls Cottage, Kent's gentle touch made countless weddings unforgettable, bringing warmth and ease to each couples most cherished day. Early in Kent's career, his dedication as a business manager set the stage for a life devoted to servitude not only in his career but to his family as well. Kent's virtuous legacy lives on in the lives of Alli, Jade, Luke, and Memphis.
