Kerry J. French

Canandaigua Kerry J. French, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2022. He is survived by his wife of eight years, Courtney Bogart-French; three daughters, Megan, Kylie and Devin French; mother, Cathy French; extended family members; and his canine companions, Bogie and Bear.
Kerry was raised in Windsor, NY and was a graduate of Windsor High School. He earned an associate s degree from the University of Hawaii and a bachelor s degree from SUNY Binghamton. Kerry was a US Air Force Veteran, and proudly served from 1991-1995. He was a Deputy with the Ontario County Sheriff s Department for several years and was presently working as a Financial Planner. Kerry was a huge Buffalo Bills fan and season ticket holder. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters and dogs. Kerry will be remembered for his sense of humor and devotion to his family.
Friends may call Saturday, August 27 from 2-5pm at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment with military honors will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Romulus, NY, on Monday, August 29, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario County Sheriff Benevolent Association, 74 Ontario St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
