Kerry Tate Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Maupin Funeral Home - Fulton on Jul. 6, 2024.
Kerry L. Tate, born January 6, 1956, a man who would rise before the sun every single day, to welcome the first glimpse of each days awakening with the birds singing and the morning air pressed softly on his skin was welcomed into heavens eternal sunrise on July 4, 2024 on his own terms surrounded by his loved ones.
Kerry's love for his family and friends shines throughout the community and those impacted by his loss. He lived for Sunday dinners and carport gatherings joined by so many people over the years where the sounds of guitar strings and his grandchildren's laughter will forever echo towards him into the heavens and be met by his grace in a place where there is no more pain, no more suffering and love endures all.
His presence here on this merciless earth will be deeply missed by the many friends and loved ones he's impacted along the way.
Kerry was most proud of his time spent on earth being the most amazing Father and Grandpa one could ever wish for and will be lovingly remembered by his very best furry friend Charlie, his three daughters, Kerrah Tate (Kane Howell) of Fulton, MO, Keli Tate (James Wagoner) of Kingdom City, MO and Karla Robb of Prescott, AZ along with his seven grandchildren, Vanessa Slaughter, Alexis Slaughter, Nathanael Robb, Alaina Edler, Jocelynn Robb, Alexander Edler, Preston Wagoner. Brothers, David Coleman, Tom Tate, and Brian Tate and some of the best friends one could ever imagine.
He was preceded in death by his parents Roger Tate and Betty Berrey, brothers Wayne Coleman, Andrew Coleman, & Chuck Coleman.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Maupin Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Portland Cemetery.
