Kevin returned home to his Heavenly Father after a decline in health due to strokes and seizures. He spent his last days being cared for and loved by family.

Kevin was born to L. Rex and Barbara Florence Johnson Andersen as the oldest of 6 children: Kim B. (Mac) Chesley, Karen A. (Dave) Cowley, Scott D. (Marian) Andersen, Brian K. (Linda) Andersen and David R. (Jeana) Andersen. He grew up in Holladay Utah.

Throughout his life, Kevin was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served as a missionary for the church in Columbia, and has held many other callings. He especially loved teaching the doctrine of the church.

He graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in accounting and received his CPA. He then went on to receive his MBA degree from UNLV.

Together with his former wife Debra Carter they had four children, Aaron (Stacey) Andersen, Alisa (Andrew) Hildebrandt, Christian (Suzanne) Andersen, and Andrew (Karina) Andersen. And now has 16 grandchildren.

As a father of four children, he lovingly supported and cared for them all while finishing his schooling. He developed his career as a CPA and eventually a CFO. He partnered with his dad and opened their own firm, Andersen, Andersen, and Strong.

He enjoyed music and was a lead singer and guitarist of his band. He even turned a room in his house into a recording studio. He also loved gathering his family for a movie night or taking them to Disneyland.

He has spent the past 8 years with a devoted wife Nora Patricia Andersen. She has lovingly cared for him as his health has declined. As a family, we thank her for love and support.

Dad, we will miss you dearly, especially your calm reassuring hand.

The family will be holding a memorial service in his honor on December 22, 2022 at 3pm at The River 9th Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1899 W 7600 S, West Jordan, UT 84084.
