Kevin Craig Dapper, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2026 in Herriman, Utah.
He was born on June 3, 1980 in Fallbrook, California to Curtis Michael Dapper and Kim Crouthamel Dapper.
He grew up in Sandy, Utah and graduated from Alta High School in 1998. Shortly after graduation, he served as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California San Diego Spanish-Speaking Mission. He made many life-long friends during his service.
Kevin married the love of his life, Altee Ainsworth, on September 5, 2014. They were later sealed at the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple on November 2, 2019. Kevin and Altee celebrated 11 years of love together. They welcomed Brooklyn on April 9, 2017 to join her stepbrother Jevin and stepsister Kaylee to complete the family.
For the past 17 years, he was employed at Comcast as a Community Accounts Representative. It was a perfect fit due to his ability to cultivate and foster relationships. He left an indelible impression on everyone that he met including his colleagues and co-workers. Kevin was a team-player through and through.
Kevin was a mountain of a man in more ways than one with an even bigger heart. He loved all people and left everyone better than he found them. Many considered him their best friend which speaks to his exceptional character, integrity, and ability to connect with others.
He had a passion for health and fitness. Many years of dedication were evident in his massive biceps and his gift of gab. Kevin had the honorary title of Mayor of Lifetime Fitness. In between sets of lifting weights, he would eat gummy bears and would take the time to lift the burdens of others.
As strong as his physique was, his true strength was rooted in his love for others, especially his family. His discipline, diligence, and thirst for knowledge were second to none.
His lifelong dream was to be a father. The birth of his daughter Brooklyn was the highlight of his life. His title of “Daddy” was the biggest flex of all.
There has been an enormous outpouring of love and support. It warms our hearts to know how many lives he touched. We miss you terribly and love you very much, Kevin. He is also known as Kev, Jack, Dude, Deboo, Poobs, Daddy, Honey, Dap, Dapper, Dappy, Dappy-dog, WAD, and Big Kev.
