Kevin John Davis had his life on this earth cut short in a tragic car accident on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
A longtime resident of Loris, South Carolina, Kevin was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. Kevin remained true to his Ohio State Buckeyes but became a huge Carolina Panthers fan when he moved to the Carolinas.
Kevin loved to fish and explore all the beautiful wildlife here in South Carolina and had a deep love for music.
Kevin was a dedicated employee of the Kroger Company where he served at both the N. Kings Highway store as well as the Main St., North Myrtle store for many years. Kevin was a proud member of the UFCW Union.
Kevin was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Betty Davis, his beloved brother, Shane Michael Davis, and best friends, Robert "Bear" Rex and Sean Rex.
Kevin leaves to mourn his passing his dear mother, Kathy (Davis) Hutton, and father, Ron (Crip) Hutton who he affectionately, referred to as "Pops."
Also left to carry on his memory are a host of cousins in Ohio, his Kroger family, and friends who span two states.
In lieu of services, the family asks that each of you celebrate Kevin's life in your own special way, love each other and carry on the memory of this incredible young man.
Condolences may be made at www.cremationservicesdirect.com.

I don't know you, but may you RIP.
God´s Garden

God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He knew that you were suffering. He knew that you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, 'peace is thine.' He put His arms around you, and He lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches could make a lane, we'd walk a path to Heaven and bring you home again.

This just breaks my heart. I met Kevin (Kookie as we called him) when we both worked at The Red Dog Saloon. We became close friends and stayed in touch through facetime/text or calls when he moved. I will miss his late night facetime calls. My condolences to the family. My heart goes out to you and thank you for raising such a wonderful amazing person I had the chance to call a friend.
