Kevin Green was born on March 6, 1960 to his predeceased parents, Julia and Theodore Green. Kevin was born and raised in Newark, NJ but lived in Bayonne, NJ with his wife of 20 years, Gwendolyn Green of Jersey City.
Kevin was educated within the Newark Public School system. He worked in the Dentistry field for about 20 years at Cap's Dental Lab. He spent the latter part of his life employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at Hudson Community Enterprise, from which he retired in October of 2021 due to the illnesses he battled. Kevin departed this life Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Kevin had a close knit relationship with his nephews Michael, Andre and Lamont growing up, as they were close in age. He is remembered as a devoted Giants fan and the life of the party; loving to dance and loving music.
Kevin was preceded in transition by his siblings Rodney Green, Theodore Green, Jr., Deborah Green and Margaret Green, as well as his father-in-law Dorsey Britton, Sr.
Kevin is survived by his three children Kevin, Andrew and Jasmine, six grandsons Kevin, Justin, Kaleb, Amir, Cameron and Noah, stepson Duywon Britton, six bonus grandchildren Duywon Jr., Davon, Da'Ziyah, X'Zaveon, Davin and Darielle, an uncle Randolph Green, siblings Paulette James, Linda Albert, Allen Green and Donna Green, mother-in-law Magalean Britton, his brother-in-law Dorsey Britton, Jr., sisters-in-law Artelia Britton-Mills and Theresa King, and a host of cousins, nieces/great nieces and nephews/great nephews.
