As an adult, Kevin was a gifted mechanic who loved working on British, German & Italian motorcycles. Back in high school, before I met him, our peer-group said there was a kid that "plays guitar just like Hendrix!" I went to see and it was true! Like Hendrix, Kevin never learned to read music: another connection to Jimi he took great pride in. I remember when he picked up the fiddle, he had never played before, but by the next day he made that fiddle sing so very sweetly. Music was in his DNA.
