Williams Funeral Home & Crematory - ColumbiaKevin Dale Pugh, went to be with Jesus on September 25, 2025, at his home in Columbia, with family by his side. Kevin was born on April 6, 1964, to his parents, Powell O’Neal Pugh and Betty McKennon Pugh who preceded him in death along with 2 brothers, Joel and Gary Pugh, and 1 sister, Angela Pugh Easley.
Kevin married the love of his life, Carla Potts Pugh, on March 31, 1990, and had 35 years together, and had 2 loving sons, Mason and Michael Pugh, and 1 Granddaughter, Lilly Pugh, whom he adored as well. Kevin is also survived by his brother, Timmy (Sandy) Pugh, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kevin was employed by Worthington Precision, and then Shively Brothers until he retired. He worked part time at the Convenience Center on Bear Creek Pike for a little while before he was unable to work. He loved telling stories of his buddies at each job. They were like family to him.
Kevin loved being with family and friends, whether camping or just sitting by the fire pit listening to old, classic country music and talking and making us laugh. He loved his chickens and his black Lab, Sissy, who is grieving him as well. He loved mowing the grass, alongside his wonderful neighbor of 35 years, Mark (Melissa) White. He also loved talking about his “HOT ROD DAYS”. His favorite car he had was his blue 1972 Camero with “ALMOST HEAVEN” on the spoiler.
Kevin was always kind to others, generous to lend a helping hand, and a devoted Husband, Father, and Papaw.
Kevin’s Celebration of Life will be October 19, 2025, at 3:30 pm, at the Pentecostals of Columbia, located at 955 Baker Rd., Columbia TN.
Carla would like to ask you all to write down a funny memory or story of Kevin and bring with you to the Celebration.
