Kevin A. Woods

Kevin A. Woods, 60, of Steedman, passed away on September 25, 2025.

He was born on October 9, 1964, in Overland Park, Kansas, to the late Don Woods and Noreen (Ash) Bistline.

Kevin spent much of his professional life working in construction and as a skilled plumber working alongside his best friend. After retiring from plumbing, Kevin continued to keep busy, exploring different trades and even working for Home Depot, where his talents and friendliness were appreciated.

Beyond his work, Kevin had many passions. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with cars, riding mini bikes, and was an avid reader. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephews, and especially his great nephew, Matthew, who brought him much joy. Kevin was a faithful member of the First Christian Church of Kimberling City and later he became a member of the Fulton Church of God Holiness, where his presence will be deeply missed.

Those that remain to cherish Kevin's memory are his mother and stepfather, Noreen and K.E. (Ed) Bistline; sister, Kimberly Trammell (Doug), and their sons, Alexander and Shawn Trammell; brother, Brent Woods (Stephanie) and their son, Harold Woods (Tiffany), their son, Matthew Woods, and daughter Nikita Kingsley (Tommy), along with their daughter Delilah, who will arrive in January; stepbrother, Eddie Bistline (Lynda) and their son, Matthew Bistline (Amanda) and their children, Alayna, Sophie, and Ryan Bistline, son, Josh Bistline (Samantha), daughter, Shelby Bistline and son, Noah Bistline; stepsister, Teri White (Jon), and their children, Amanda Slyter (Jared), and their daughter Juni Slyter, and daughter, Makayla McCullough (Justin).

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Fulton Church of God Holiness on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Travis Sayler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Fulton Church of God Holiness, Multipurpose Building Fund, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
