Kevin Joseph Worek, 68, passed away peacefully at AHN Forbes Hospice on March 10, 2025, spending his last days surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on December 31, 1956, Kevin was the beloved son of the late Joseph "Tarzan" and Mary Eileen Worek. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Terry Markowski.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, and his former wife, Margaret (Petro). Kevin also leaves behind his niece, Michelle Schaetz, and nephew, Ryan Markowski, along with their families in Wisconsin.
Kevin enjoyed a successful career as a mortgage consultant, retiring after more than two decades with National City Bank and PNC Bank. He was a proud graduate of Serra Catholic High School (Class of 1974) and Pennsylvania State University (Class of 1978).
Kevin had a love of sports and found joy in volunteering as an athletic trainer for Penn State football, as well as Serra Catholic High School's football and basketball teams throughout the 1980s. He was a lifelong fan of his hometown teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.
