Bucky was an incredible force to be reckoned with. He did all he could to make everyone around him laugh. Bucky had the best stories that he told so often you could retell them like your own. He had an infectious laugh. He was too smart for his own good and loved fiercely.
He was a great lover of music, video games, and reading. He loved playing the drums, guitar, and bass. He had recently started a collection of CDs and the array of music saw no bounds.
Bucky is survived by his wife, Beth (Sutton) McCarty; father, Kim McCarty, Sr.; daughters, Caitlyn McCarty, Lily Fae Adams, and Emmy (Jio Pizarro) McPherson; granddaughter, Annabelle Riley Petty; sister, Vicky (Jerry) Summers; brother, Steven (Rachel) Young; brother-in-law, Travis (Jennifer Seskey) Sutton; lifelong friend, Tim Mitchell, As well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty (McGill) McCarty, in 2008, his grandparents, Carl and Betty (Wilson) McCarty, uncles, Rick and Allen McCarty.
A visitation for Bucky will take place on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. Online condolences may be left at denningfamilyfuneralhome.com

we were so sorry to hear about Bucky. we are Uncle Pat & Aunt Sharon & cousin Chris. His mom's brother. My son got it off of facebook yesterday. my facebook got hacked, that is the reason i didn' know about it. Again so sorry
