Kimberlee Anne Reilly, 61, of San Diego, California, passed away on May 19, 2025.

Kimberlee was born on October 14, 1963 to Diane (Anthenien) Rauh and Thomas Nyhan in Socorro, New Mexico. Her family moved to Northern California, where she would spend her childhood. After graduating from Santa Teresa high school she attended her dream college of San Diego State University. Her term at SDSU led to a life-time of being a proud Aztec and San Diego resident. Graduating with a degree in accounting, Kimberlee went on to a career in the SDSU finance department, retiring after 34 years as the Assistant Controller. After retirement her zest for learning and her dedication to helping others continued as she worked part-time with SDSU and UCLA and volunteered with the SDSU Alumni Association.

Kim was a happy, bubbly and loving soul, and her passing leaves a void in so many lives. She left an indelible mark on everyone she met and was immensely loved by her family and friends. She was defined by her caring selfless nature, and was always there for people when they needed her. If you had asked Kim what her greatest love was, the greatest joy in her life, without hesitation her answer would have been her daughter Erin. Kim created a foundation of unconditional love and support, empowering Erin to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, while always being there to offer guidance, wisdom and encouragement.

Her effusive excitement during the holidays was on full display with her creative decorations both inside and outside her home, creating a joyous place to be for family and friends. She instilled in her daughter Erin, her love of dogs, having two sweet golden retrievers as part of her family. Kim also had a keen sense of adventure - she loved to travel and experience new cultures, exploring California, Oregon, New York, Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska, Boston and Canada.

She is predeceased by her father Thomas Nyhan, brother Timothy Nyhan and stepfather Edmund Rauh. She is survived by her daughter Erin, her mother Diane Rauh, uncle Mike Anthenien, stepmother Corinne Nyhan, brother Patrick Nyhan, step-siblings Janice Pennington, LaShawn Rivers, Mandy Sherer, Christine Lardent, nephews Joshua Nyhan, Jacob Nyhan, Atticus Nyhan, and niece Miles Nyhan.
