Kimberly McBride, a cherished homemaker and lover of life's simple pleasures, passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on June 23, 2025, in Boonville, Indiana, with her mother at her side. Born on November 1, 1967, to Janice Seitz and the late Michael Seitz, Kimberly's vibrant spirit and infectious smile brought joy to all who knew her.
Kimberly graduated from Mt Vernon High School, where she formed friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. Her life was a testament to the value of family, love, and the joy found in everyday moments. She dedicated her life to creating a warm and welcoming home, filled with love and laughter, for her beloved daughter, Jensen McBride, and her long-term partner, Kevin Bitter.
Though her heart ached from the loss of her husband, Darrell McBride, and her brothers, Michael Seitz Jr. and Douglas Seitz, Kimberly's strength and resilience were an inspiration to all. She eagerly anticipated the arrival of her grandson, Callahan Essary, whose presence will forever be a reminder of her love and legacy.
Kimberly's passion for the outdoors was evident in her love for hunting and collecting arrowheads, activities that not only brought her immense joy but also connected her to the beauty of nature. Her love for music, particularly the iconic sounds of the 80s and the band Journey, provided a soundtrack to the many cherished moments shared with friends and family.
As she eagerly looked forward to embracing her new role as a grandmother, Kimberly's excitement was palpable, and her dreams for her grandson's future were boundless. Her wisdom, kindness, and nurturing spirit will continue to guide her family and loved ones.
Kimberly's life was a beautiful melody, composed of moments that danced to the tunes of love, family, and joy. As we celebrate her life and the imprints she left on our hearts, we find comfort in knowing that Kimberly McBride lived fully, loved deeply, and will be profoundly missed by her daughter, partner, mother, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
As the sun sets on Kimberly's earthly journey, we take solace in the memories she gifted us, and in the knowledge that her spirit will continue to watch over us, just as she watched over the arrowheads she so lovingly collected. Her legacy will continue to inspire and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Kimberly McBride's life was a journey well-traveled, and she has now found peace on her final adventure to the great beyond.
