Kimberly Ann Merrick

On July 22, 2025, Kimberly Ann Merrick, age 61, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of East Tawas, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by friends and family. She was born on June 5, 1964 in Alpena, MI to Gerald and Ruth (Licht) Merrick. Kimberly was a 1982 graduate of Tawas Area High School and went on to obtain her cosmetology license from Bayshire Beauty Academy in 1993. Over the years, she worked as a cosmetologist at New Reflections Too and Eclipse Hair Salons in Tawas and was also employed by Hilton and Doubletree Hotels in the Midland, Bay City and Saginaw area. Kimberly enjoyed playing the piano and singing in church and as a part of the Tawas Bay Players. She also treasured the time she spent volunteering with the Harbor Lights Pregnancy Center. Kimberly is survived by her daughter, Asia Milburn of Las Vegas, NV; parents, Gerald and Ruth Merrick of Oscoda, MI and sisters, Rachel Merrick and Amy Merrick of Oscoda, MI. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hugo and Frances Licht and John and Genevieve Merrick. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at a later date.
