Kimberly Anne (Joyce) Sheehy of Weymouth passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2024 at the age of 61. Kim was born in Boston and raised in the Idlewell neighborhood of Weymouth, attending Weymouth North High School. She married David Sheehy of Weymouth and moved to Kingston, MA, where she spent most of her adult life. Throughout her life, she enjoyed work as a caterer, chef, and most recently at the gardening department at Lowe's, where she left many beloved colleagues and friends. She loved cooking, talking to anyone and everyone, spending time in the sun, and visiting her grandchildren. Kim leaves four children: Erin Anderson of Middleboro, James Sheehy of Oakdale, CT, Kevin Sheehy of Plympton, and Ryan Sheehy of Plymouth, as well as six grandchildren Roman, Sydney, Caleb, Julian, Clark, and Taylor. She was beloved daughter of Jean M (Connor) Joyce and the late Francis J. Joyce, and sister to Maura and her husband Donald of Braintree, Kristin of Weymouth, Michael of Weymouth, Kerry of Austin, TX, and the late and dearly missed Heather and Michael Callahan of Weymouth. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and the many friends she has amassed over the years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Thursday, February 1, from 12-3 at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street. A private burial will be held at a later date.
