Krissi Dawn Savoy, 39, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on October 30, 2023.
Krissi was born on March 24, 1984, to Janet Ann Metcalf Savoy and John Kipling Savoy. She graduated from Nederland High School in 2002 and was a janitor with the Signature Group for the past year. Krissi loved to go to the beach; enjoyed coloring and writing and was very artistic. She had the “biggest heart” in the world and could light up a room with her smile. Krissi also loved her dogs and always had one because she enjoyed them so much but her family was her greatest love, such as her husband, her children, parents, siblings, grandparents, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; all of them she cared for dearly and they loved her.
Survivors include her children, John Kipling Savoy-King and his girlfriend Alexis Ramsey, Kolin Michael Savoy and her daughter Kali Ann Savoy all of Nederland; mother, Janet Savoy Metcalf of Nederland; husband, Mason Rodgers of Port Arthur; brothers, Steve Dillon Savoy and his wife Kasie of Fannett, John Craig Savoy and wife Bacia Janeaux of Port Neches; step-father, Mack McCormack and his wife Ricki of Nederland; her aunt and uncle, Pam Guarnere and her husband David of Port Arthur; niece and nephew, Gracelynn Savoy and Dylan Carter of Fannett.
Krissi is preceded in death by her father, John Kipling Savoy, Sr.; grandparents, Margaret Rose Metcalf and Sonny Metcalf and Robert Glenn King.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas with a “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service to be conducted at 5:00 p.m. to Honor the Memory of Krissi Dawn Savoy at Melancon Funeral Home. Private Family Cremation Services will take place at a later date.
