Kristen Amber Karabush, 30, of Manitowoc, passed away on August 19th, 2024.
Kristen was born on May 17th, 1994 to Larry Karabush and Diane Lopez in Sturgeon Bay. She attended Southern Door Middle School and graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 2012. Following graduation, she went to the University of Wisconsin- River Falls and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Equine Science in 2023. After college she worked as a Vet Assistant for Memorial Drive Vet Clinic in Manitowoc.
In 2015 she met the love of her life, Logan Keehn, while he was traveling for a work event. It didn't take long before Logan was accepted as one of the family after Kristen expressed how much love they had for each other. They proved to balance each other out. She had tremendous support for Logan with his Axe Throwing hobby. She would travel with him to all his competitions and was his biggest fan. The goofy memories and love they shared was and always will be special. They spent nine wonderful years together.
Family meant the world to Kristen and they did countless things together. She always looked forward to family gatherings, vacations, and the state fair every year. She cherished her time as an aunt to her nephew Landon and her niece Maddilyn. She would spoil them beyond measure, always supporting and made time for them. Kristen also had a love for music, sports, taking pictures, collecting cups, and family game days.
Kristen had a love for all animals, and there are no words for how compassionate she was for them. She was extremely hardworking and would drop everything to help out when needed. Kristen was always positive with a contagious laugh and her smile was beautiful and bright. She will be forever loved and forever missed.
Kristen loved the Lord and lived her faith by showing love to others and being part of the Koinoinia Community.
Kristen is survived by loving parents; Diane Lopez and Larry (Wendy) Karabush; sister, Colleen Karabush; nephew, Landon Karabush; niece, Maddilyn Karabush; grandmother, Carol Bender; grandfather, John Bender; aunts: Elizabeth (Josh) Rankin, Kathryn Bender and Jennifer (Sam) Pyatt; countless cousins; and her love, Logan Keehn.
