Kristi LeAnn Moore, 40, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, in Katy, Texas, surrounded by those who loved her most. Born in Houston on May 22, 1985, Kristi was raised in Katy, where she graduated from Katy High School in 2004 and made lifelong connections.
With a bright spirit and a strong will, Kristi lit up every room she entered. She was known for her perky personality, contagious smile, and the genuine way she connected with everyone she met. A true people person, she had a special knack for making others feel seen, heard, and loved.
Kristi had a deep love for her family, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her daughter and her nieces and nephew. She especially cherished making memories through arts and crafts, creating from the heart and often giving her creations to those she cared about most.
Kristi is survived by her beloved daughter, Madalynn Moore; her devoted mother, Carol Moore; her father, Wayne Moore; her sister, Jenn Nelson and husband Craig; her brother, Bret Moore; her cherished nieces, Bryleigh, Charlie, Whitley, and Cameron; and her nephew, Jaxon. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joan and Pat Adams, and George and Dorothy Moore.
Kristi's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Kristi's strength and spirit.
