She was born in North East, PA on April 4, 1948 to the late Milton and Doris (Davis) Hauck.
Gail worked for many years at General Electric in the assembly area. She enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S., especially enjoying historical sites, and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-niece, Tyra Trapp.
Gail is survived by her husband of 51 ½ years, Raymond Barber; sister, Gloria Trapp (Richard) of Erie; nieces, Lisa Panighetti (Justin) of Erie and Lindsey Forne (Adam) of Erie; nephew, Eric Trapp (Erica) of Erie; numerous great nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Ave., 845 E. 38th Street on Sunday 2:00-4:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1531 E. Grandview Blvd. Erie, PA 16510 on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Private inurnment at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
