Kurt Richard Wacenske was born on January 21, 1965, to Richard and Sharon Wacenske. He attended Webster, NY schools from kindergarten through graduation in 1983. He was recognized for his athletic abilities throughout his high school career. He played baseball, basketball, and soccer and was even selected to the varsity soccer team as a sophomore because of his talent. He played the drums for a couple of years in the school band and sang and danced in the play, "Grease" in high school. Following graduation, he briefly attended Fredonia, a State University of New York. He decided that college was not for him. He enjoyed troubleshooting and working with his hands. He ended up getting work as an auto mechanic. He later worked at various mechanic/maintenance positions for several years.
Kurt passed away from a cardiac event on September 30, 2022. Sadly, due to his mental health he struggled to gain help and chose to be distant with his family. He was missed by many long before his death and now that loss is more permanent and more painful. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Karl, and his firstborn daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth. He is survived by the mother of his children, Kelly and their children, Kara Rose and Konner Reid as well as his two sisters, Karen Truchok and Kay (Bob) Rathke, nephews Denver and Gabriel Shaw, James and John Wacenske, nieces Kayleigh Sweitzer and Evelyn Truchok. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
