Kyle Medkeff, beloved son, big brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the age of 32. Born on August 29, 1991, in Wilmington, Delaware, Kyle graduated from Delaware Military Academy in 2009. He channeled his own experiences into a career dedicated to supporting others in their journeys toward recovery, serving as a guiding light in the field of addiction and recovery.
Kyle is remembered for his incredible compassion, infectious laughter, and an unwavering protective nature. He had a profound impact on everyone he met, human and animal alike, with a genuine love that made him a beacon of hope in our lives. His resilience and courage, especially in the face of adversity, taught us all the true meaning of strength. Kyle was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, celebrating their triumphs with the same fervor he brought to all aspects of his life.
He is survived by his mother Terry; sister Karissa; brothers Matthew and Christopher; Mom-Mom Mary Lou; Pop-Pop Danny; Aunt Tammy; Uncle David; many loving cousins; and cherished rescue dog, Cash. Kyle is preceded in death by his grandmother Kathy; and great-grandparents Mary Etta and William.
