Kyle Wayne Moyer, 39, of Concord, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Kyle was born in Washington, DC, on October 5, 1985, and moved to his forever home in Cabarrus County, NC, when he was two years old.
Kyle was an avid reader of many genres and a loyal fan of the University of Michigan football team and the UNC Tar Heels Basketball team. He graduated from Central Cabarrus High School and attended UNC-Charlotte. Most of all, Kyle was a loving son, brother, grandson and uncle.
Kyle will be greatly missed by his parents, Joyce and Mike Andrews (Concord, NC), and Rick Moyer and Nancy Cruz (Cape Coral, FL); siblings, Kelley Hazelwood (Harrisburg, NC), Dana and Eric White (Concord, NC), Ryan and Tracy Andrews (Farmington, MN) Morgan and Scott Werner (Vermillion, MN), Karyna Valdes (Tampa, FL), and Kyara Valdes (Cape Coral, FL); and paternal grandmother, Joanne Moyer (Ocala, FL). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Bryce, Domenic, Jaekob, Jaxen, Isaac, Lennox, Noah, Stella, Jennah, Dawson, Kason, Ashton, Griffin, Wren, and Lillian; and goddaughter, Michelle Hudson. Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Florence Dickens and William Moyer.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Sterling White. The service will be webcast.
