Cremation Society of New Hampshire - HamptonKyle Joseph Palmer, a resident of Somersworth, NH, and a long-time resident of Lincoln NH. A beloved son and cherished friend was born on January 24, 1996, in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Tragically, he passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025, leaving a profound impact on those who knew him.
Kyle's formative years were filled with an infectious curiosity, most notably for dinosaurs, showcasing a remarkable ability to name nearly every species. He was also not shy of correcting anyone that may have used the wrong name. His passion for knowledge was evident throughout his education. He graduated from Lin-Wood Public School in 2014. During his Junior and Senior years of high school he participated in the JROTC program at White Mountain Regional High School, where he quickly moved up in rank from C/Private to C/2LT. He was in Drill Team and became a commander in the Sabre guard. He furthered his education at the University of New Hampshire, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Resource and Environmental Economics in 2019.
Kyle’s career began in food service, working at various establishments including Whales Tale Water Park, Loon Mountain, and CJ's Penalty Box. Later he worked at Lonza Pharmaceutical and advanced to the role of Senior Manufacturing Associate, where he showcased his strong work ethic and dedication.
Among his accomplishments was his journey through scouting, where Kyle started as a young boy in Lincoln-Woodstock Cub Scout Troop 224 and ascended to the rank of Eagle Scout. He was admired not just for his achievements but for his kind-hearted nature. Friends affectionately referred to him as a nerd and a goofball, and he enjoyed playful nicknames like "Goober" in endearing moments with his father.
Kyle was a passionate individual with a diverse set of interests. His love for building Lego kits, assembling Warhammer Figurines, and playing Magic the Gathering card game was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for playing online games on his PC. He held a special fondness for the Star Wars franchise, especially the Dark Side and Idolized Darth Vader. He took great delight in outdoor pursuits, such as motorcycling, golfing, hiking, skiing, and traveling. Yet, above all, Kyle treasured the time spent with his family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Meridith "Ted" Bartlett; great grandmother, Janet Williams; grandfather, Joseph R. LaBrie Jr.; and uncle, Joseph R. LaBrie III, as well as many others. He is survived by his parents, Pam and Steven Palmer of N. Woodstock NH; grandparents Sue Kenn and husband Richard of Lincoln NH; Ron Palmer and wife Nancy of Dayton Tn; Ellie Hall and husband Tom of Kansas City KS; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Kyle's honor on January 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Joseph Newton Smith American Legion post 83, located on 183 Main St, Lincoln, NH 03251. A graveside service will be held privately by the family at a later date.
As we remember Kyle Joseph Palmer, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, adventure, and a deep love for those around him. Kyle was an awesome son, and awesome friend, and an incredible person in the eyes of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
