Kywon Jamari Moore, 20, of Norfolk, Virginia, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025, at his home. Born on December 28, 2004, in Norfolk, VA, Kywon was actively involved in both the football and wrestling teams at Booker T. Washington High School, from which he graduated in the class of 2024.
He later returned to mentor young athletes on the football team. Additionally, Kywon worked part-time as a cook at Boss Queen's Soul Cafe in Norfolk. He had a deep passion for music and football and was known for his remarkable sense of humor.
Kywon is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Valeria (Juicy) Sanderlin; paternal grandmother, Roselitta Talley; grandfather, Norman Sanderlin; and his brother, Kenyatta Moore. He is survived by his father, Calvin Talley; mother, Sandra Talley; siblings, Charloyna Thomas (Travis), Diamonte Moore, Tionna Cherry, Dashawn Cherry, and Destiny Emanuel. He was also an uncle to Sema'j Moore, Sa'Riah Thomas, and Sah'Leiah Thomas. In addition, he leaves behind godbrothers Jayden, Javon, Justin, Raheem, Carlos, godsister Jada, and his best friend, Makayla Graham.
