Thanks to all of you who have written in and shared your friendships with all of Lance's family. It has helped to see how friends Lance had through his lifetime. He was a very special young man in our family and we all loved and will missed him. We know he is in a better place now with Jesus. He's walking the streets of gold and talking to many people. He really is in heaven. He is still in our hearts, he has just change his place of residence. One day we will see him again. Thank you God for lending Lance to us for as long as you did. Our prayers are with each and every friend who knew Lance. The Laneharts

To the entire Burch Family. Your loss is a loss shared by many. The smile in his picture says everythng. I never had a conversation with Lance where he wasn't smiling, and he always left me smiling too. He was a good friend to alot of people he went to school with and I am proud to be one of them. I saw him recently in Bryan, and it was just like we were back in school. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Want to tell you I thought the world of Lance. Trey is my brother, and I remember those two spending hours under the jeep fixing it. Lance was always ready to help people. He was such a loving, kind, fun person. He was just at my house with my brother for an aggie game they were going to. I just can't believe it. I know God knows best but it is so hard for the people who will miss him. I thank God for the time my brother had with Lance.

I knew Lance in High School. I will never forget the fun times we had getting covered in mud from head to toe on his three wheeler and then quickly washing down the three wheeler to cover up any evidence of "mudding"! Lance was a joy to be around and he always knew how to make me laugh. May the Lord comfort the Burch family through this difficult time and sudden loss.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Burch Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you Grandma and Grampa Burch, Auvey, Eric and the rest of the Burch family. Lance will be missed.

What moves through us in a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why he left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he passed, but that he lived. And that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
