Lance Joseph Eberlein, 44, passed January 13th, 2025 at his home in Post Falls, leaving a great void in the lives of those he left behind. Born in Tonasket, WA on February 5th, 1980, he enjoyed a full youth filled with family activities such as camping, hunting, farming, and learning carpentry. He became a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Lance knew how to touch the life of each individual with a special charm. A "jack of all trades", his wide circle of family and friends relied on him in almost every way there is to rely on a person. Always ready for anything, Lance shared his unique qualities and abilities. Whether it was work or help, a party, pinochle, or golf, he could always be there for everyone, knowing the answer to every problem.
Lance was a self-taught and formally-taught man; and he had already distinguished himself as a master-of-much long before he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from EWU, ultimately working as controller for multiple businesses. During his whole life and from a young age, he also plied his trade as an expert carpenter, running his own businesses to renovate and build almost anything with detailed precision.
He is survived by Heather, his wife of twenty-one years, children Taylor, Sarah, Alex, Katie, and Chris, daughter-in-law Karina, granddaughter Olivia, his grandmother Ellyn, father Marc, stepmother Kelly, brother Jake, two sisters Rebecca and Amanda, nine nieces and nephews, and many cousins and in-laws who all loved him dearly and are having a hard time figuring out how to do without him, but consoled by so many happy memories. Lance is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Elaine, who passed in 2023.
