Funeral services for Mr. Lance Rich Williamson, age 38, of Piedmont, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Asberry Baptist Church with Rev. William Cain and Rev. Larry Bollinger officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Asberry Baptist Church.
Mr. Williamson passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny Williamson; parents, Rodger and Donna Williamson; brothers, Josh Williamson, Corey Williamson (Briana), and Jacob Yates; chosen brother, Calen Paradis (Amy); sisters, Melissa Hernandez and Breanna Bush; nieces and nephews, Preston, Branson, Avalee, Skyler, and Holden Williamson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William Cain and Shelia, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other relations.
He is preceded in death by his unborn child, and his grandparents, Howard and Margaret Rich and Mary Frances Williamson.
Lance was a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, class of 2004, and a member of Asberry Baptist Church. He worked for UPS with almost 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing his guitar. He was always on the go and loved traveling and seeing new places. He was a happy, out-going person with a positive outlook on life, even amidst hard trials. Most of all, he dearly loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Calen Paradis, Andrew Paradis, Corey Williamson, Josh Williamson, Jose Torres, and Chad Golden.
Honorary pallbearers will be his coworkers at UPS.
