Funeral service for Michele Elaine Johnson Hilburn, 43, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Winningham officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will be held in Seven Springs Cemetery in Jacksonville.
Michele passed away on July 2, 2024, at her home in Jacksonville.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Alison Hilburn and Kenzie Hilburn; mother, Kay Johnson; grandmother, Orelia Johnson; her sister, Katie McCloud (Robert); niece, Zelley Wood; nephews, Jude Wood and Hayden McCloud; aunts, Teresa Christopher, Janet Gardner, Susan Maxwell, Robbi Waddell and Amy Waugh; and a host of cousins.
Michele was a member of Leatherwood Baptist Church. She was passionate about animals. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and watching Alabama football, but her favorite past time was spending time with her family, especially her children. Michele was highly intelligent and was the historian of the graduating class of 1999 at Pleasant Valley High School and a graduate of Judson College. She was a loving mother, daughter, and sister and she will forever be remembered for her patient and loving nature.
