Landon Slade Boyd, 20, of Buffalo, Texas, passed away on November 5, 2024, in Spring, Texas. He was born on March 23, 2004, in Mexia, Texas. Landon loved being outside. He was a total water bug, and it did not matter if it was an ocean or pool. He enjoyed playing on his iPad, watching tv, and spending time with family, especially by picking on Heston. Landon was the sweet soul that gave hugs and contagious laughs for everyone.
Landon was preceded in death by his great-great-grandparents, Woodrow and Ira Dell Bell; great-grandparents, J.M. and Ella Boyd, Betty Boyd, and Margie Oliver; great-aunts, Wanda Hill and Lana Lee; and step-father, Ben Brown. He is survived by his great-grandmother, Jackie Maxine Lee "GiGi;” mother, Sarah Boyd; father, Manley Brzowski; sister, Kynzie Boyd; grandparents, Sonja Lee "YaYa" and David McAlpine, Tim and Regina Boyd, and Steve and Regina Oliver; aunt, Jackie Berg (Aaron); uncles, Lewis Oliver (Cheyenne) and Joe Bob Oliver; niece, Paige Boyd; special cousins, Adalee Berg, Lance, Jamie, and Heston Lee; along with numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and extended family.
A funeral service for Landon Slade Boyd will be at 10 A.M., Monday, November 11, 2024, at Walters' Buffalo Funeral Home, Buffalo, Texas. Bro. Lloyd Lane will officiate the service. Interment will follow in Parker Cemetery. A visitation and gathering of friends and loved ones will take place Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., also at the funeral home.
