Larry Wayne Bishop age 75 of Glen St. Mary passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at St. Vincents Riverside in Jacksonville. He was born August 31, 1948, in St. Augustine to the late Frank and Janie (Moseley) Bishop. Larry proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps and retired after working as an electrician for over 40 years. He spent most of his time outdoors enjoying his numerous hobbies which included hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also really enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Larry leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Jackie, of nearly 50 years of Glen St. Mary; their two children Jessica Glenn (Chad) of Jacksonville and Brian Bishop of Virginia; and sister Sandy Tillis (Gary) of Steinhatchee. He was lovingly called "Pawpaw" by Kate, Drew, and Owen Glenn and by Henry and Calvin Bishop. Funeral services for Larry will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
