Larry Brown Obituary Larry Lee Brown, age 73 of Tiro, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the Cleveland Veterans Hospital.
Larry was born on June 20, 1951 to the late Cleo and Alice (Wright) Brown in Galion, Ohio. He graduated from Lexington High School and then served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In his younger days growing up, he worked on the farm with his father and family. After serving in the Army, he retired as a self-employed truck driver.
Throughout his life, he enjoyed being a truck driver and trapshooting. He loved his kitty cats named: Spanky, Callie and Punkin. The family wanted to let everyone know Larry was the best son, brother and uncle a family could have.
Those who will cherish his memories include his siblings: Barney Brown of Tiro, Ohio and Judy (Armond) Black of Shreve, Ohio; his nieces and nephews: Randy (Michelle) Black, Rhonda (Dana) Bower, Genia (Chris) Long and Scott (Amanda) Bender; his several great nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law, Gene Bender.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Alice Brown and his sister, Nancy Bender.
A graveside service with military honors by the Morrow County Veterans at Blooming Grove Cemetery will scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given in Larry's memory to Crawford County Humane Society, 3590 Route 98, Bucyrus, Ohio 44820.
