His pursuit of knowledge led him to SUNY Canton ATC, where he earned two associate degrees in business administration in 1976, laying the foundation for a dedicated work ethic.
Larry's professional life was marked by his commitment and ability to connect with people. He contributed significantly to the AAFES exchange at Fort Drum and played a vital role in the opening of the Watertown Walmart store. After 28 years of dedicated service, he embraced retirement but continued to enjoy staying active with part-time work at the Target retail store in Watertown.
On August 30, 1990, Larry found his greatest joy in marrying Linda Dailey in a heartfelt ceremony in Port Leyden, NY. Together, they built a life filled with love and companionship. Larry cherished his family deeply and was a proud father to his daughter, Megan (Jeremy) Dutton, and a doting grandfather to his grandsons, Zackary & Liam Dutton of Lisbon. He leaves behind a brother, Anthony (Barbara) Hartl, Theresa, NY.
Beyond his professional life, Larry found simple pleasures that brought him immense joy. He was a familiar and beloved figure on the trails behind his home, often seen walking his loyal canine companions, Keno and Zuko. An avid movie enthusiast, Larry particularly enjoyed the epic saga of Star Wars, his love for the Fast and Furious franchise, and always appreciated the simple comfort of an ice-cold Pepsi and his enjoyment of peanut butter cups.
