Larry K. Keeney Sr.

Larry K. Keeney Sr., age 67, of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025.

He leaves behind his partner, Victoria Pettit; two children, Brian Keeney & family of West Virginia, Jessica Parsons & husband Nathaniel of New Jersey; three siblings, John Edward Keeney Jr. of West Virginia, Starrlette Taylor of London, Ky, Eurmmia Sheiler of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Jase Parsons, Alyssa Parsons, Joseph Marion, Savannah Keeney, Michael Keeney; two nephews, Michael Detherage, John Detherage; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward Keeney Sr. & Opal Jean Johnson Keeney; his son, Larry Keeney Jr., and by six siblings, Benjamin Franklin Keeney, James Carl Keeney Sr., Onlie Eugene Keeney, Charles David Keeney Sr., Steve Alvin Keeney, Irma Lucy Keeney.

Larry was a beloved partner, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed the simple joys in life-he loved being outside, soaking in the fresh air and peacefulness of nature. He was an avid fan of wrestling and could often be found watching his favorite matches or enjoying his favorite TV shows.

One of Larry's greatest joys was his love for Scooby-Doo. Whether it was the familiar mystery-solving gang or the lighthearted fun of the show, it always brought him laughter and comfort.

Larry will be remembered for his easygoing spirit, his love for life's small pleasures, and the place he held in the hearts of his family. His presence will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on in the stories shared and the love he leaves behind.

A funeral service for Larry K. Keeney Sr. will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at12:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
