Larry was a graduate of Pass Christian High School where he loved and excelled at football and basketball. He also served in the United States Army from which he was honorably discharged and served time in Germany. Larry retired from Mississippi Power Company's Plant Watson where he was an Operations Supervisor. He enjoyed flea markets and yard selling. He was well known for buying, restoring, or repurposing things for resale and people knew exactly who to call when they were looking for something. Larry also enjoyed deer hunting with his dog, Pretty Girl, but coon hunting was his love. He traveled to nearby states for competitions with his dog, Ann, by his side. Larry was a devoted Catholic and a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
To those who knew and loved him, his memory will never fade. While we shed tears that he is gone, we smile because he lived.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Enhabit Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Larry and their family.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following. Interment will be in Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
