Larry McArthur

Larry Earl McArthur, 62, of East Brainerd, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 21, 2016. A longtime resident of Chattanooga, Larry worked as an electrician with Duncan Electric for several years and has been employed with Siemens for the past 15 years as a field service engineer. He was a member of the IBEW Local No. 175. Larry loved spending time on the river fishing with his sons and also enjoyed woodworking making keepsakes for his family. He enjoyed talking about guns and going to the shooting range with his children and grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher Adam McArthur; and his father, Grady Earl McArthur. Survivors are his wife, Kim McArthur; his children, Geoff (Amber) McArthur, Jennifer Poole, Israel McArthur, Abagail McArthur and Lilyanna McArthur; four grandchildren, Annalise Martin, Cyanna Poole, William Poole and Roan McArthur; his mother, Evelyn McArthur; two sisters, Pamela Grantham and Pattie Walker; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at 2 p.m., in the funeral home chapel, with Dane Parton speaking.
