Larry J. Outhouse

Manchester – Larry J. Outhouse, age 71, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, January 10, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maggi Sullivan; brother, Steven Outhouse; sister-in-law, Katie Outhouse; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, William G. Outhouse.
Larry was born in Canandaigua and was the son of Charles and Margaret (McKee) Outhouse. He was raised in Bloomfield (Holcomb), attended Bloomfield schools and was a graduate of Bloomfield Central School, class of 1971. Larry earned a bachelor's degree from SUNY Oswego.
He worked at the family business, Outhouse Feed & Coal in Canandaigua, for several years. Larry later became a case worker for Ontario County Department of Social Services, for over 20 years, from where he retired.
He loved the English Premier Soccer League, history and a good whiskey. Larry formerly coached the men's soccer club, the Amazon Dancers, in Bristol. He was an avid reader who enjoyed doing the NY Times crossword puzzle.
A gathering to celebrate Larry's life will be held Sunday, January 26, from 12-4pm, at Cheap Charlies Restaurant, 8 Elm Street, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario County Historical Society, 55 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424 or the Wood Library, 134 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
