Larry Wayne Sepulvado, a beloved master mechanic and avid outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Spur, Texas, at the age of 66. Born on June 16, 1958, in Houston, Texas, Larry made a lasting impact on all who knew him through his warmth, dedication, and zest for life.
A proud graduate of the Houston Technical Institute, Larry's career as a master mechanic exemplified his deep commitment to his work. He was known for his exceptional skills and the pride he took in helping others through his craft. Larry's hands were meant for creating; whether he was fixing a vehicle or crafting memories with family and friends, he approached every task with an unmatched passion.
Larry had a heart full of love for the great outdoors. His joy for fishing and hunting was a cornerstone of his life, allowing him to create lasting memories with those who shared in his passion. The tranquility of nature brought him happiness, and many will remember the stories he shared about his outdoor adventures.
Larry enjoyed a loving marriage with his wife, Doll Ann Sepulvado, until her passing. Their union was marked by cherished moments that reflected a deep bond of companionship and affection. He lived in Beaumont, Texas, for many years before moving to Spur with Doll Ann, where they continued to build their life together. He took comfort in his Catholic faith, which guided him throughout his life.
Larry is survived by his sister, Kathy Melchor; nephews Alfonso Melchor, Jr. and Andrew Melchor; and a caring network of an uncle, aunts, and cousins. Together, they will hold on to the legacy of love and laughter he imparted to them.
He is predeceased by his father, Hosey Sepulvado; his mother, Rita Sepulvado; his brother, Charles "Chuck" Sepulvado; his sister, Darla Sepulvado; and his cherished wife, Doll Ann Sepulvado. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping Larry's life, contributing to the man he became and the person they will fondly remember.
As we bid farewell to Larry Wayne Sepulvado, we choose to remember his laughter, his generosity, and the love he shared so freely. His spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who loved him, and his memories will live on through the stories told by family and friends. Larry's journey may have reached its conclusion, but his essence will remain woven into the fabric of our lives.
