Larry L Shaw went home to be with the Lord on February 20, 2025. He was born April 18, 1957, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. His parents were Merrill and Geraldine Shaw (nee McMonigle) (both deceased). He had two brothers, Leon (wife- Liz) and Lewis (wife-Marie) (all deceased). They later moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Larry grew up in Cleveland and attended Max Hayes High School. He would then attend Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. Larry worked at Avtron Manufacturing in Independence for 38 years until his retirement. He traveled extensively to Europe, Australia, Canada, and forty-one states. Larry also enjoyed camping. Larry committed his life to Jesus Christ on May 7, 2007, acknowledging this as the greatest turning point in his life. Larry is survived by a niece, Barbara Matthews (husband- Richard) and a nephew, Kenny Shaw (wife-Jackie) as well as several cousins, including Patty Stone of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many friends and his church family of Rockside Church in Independence, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, Larry requested that any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Funeral services and burial will be private.
