Larry Ray White

Larry Ray White, of Clever, MO, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his

side on January 25, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on May 12,1955, in Aurora,

MO, to Bervin and Shirley (Johnson) White. Larry, who was affectionately called Tom,

was the oldest of three children in the home. Tom graduated from Republic High School

with the class of 1973.

Tom enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served his country for four years,

to include time during the Vietnam Era. After he was honorably discharged from the

Navy, Tom returned home and began working at GE, as a Die Cast Manufacturer. He

worked for GE for 25+ years. Tom was blessed with a daughter, Lacy, and then when he

married Brenda on July 07, 1988, he gained two additional children, Chuck and Doug.

Tom was baptized in his mid-20's at Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing,

watching the deer in the fields, looking at the beautiful wildflowers and spending time

with his family and many friends. One friend especially, Ron Sutherland, who he spent

many hours with watching sports together, Ron was also a huge help to Tom through his

illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Brenda, daughter Lacy Huxley and her

children Trevor and Hayden Huxley, step sons, Charles Lynn Smith and Jason Douglas

Smith, sisters; Beverly Mooneyham and husband Glenn and Brenda White and

husband Steve, sisters-in-law; Barbara Gordy and husband Richard and Connie

Chatham, nieces Michelle Stormzand and significant other Jason Greek and Jessica

Neff and husband Andy, step niece Ashley, step nephews Justin, Kevin and Michael, his

best buddy, Rowdy, his cat, a very special neighbor whom he considered a grandson,

Brenden Clark as well as other extended family and countless friends.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, niece Kendall Billingsley and his nephew,

Zachary Dylan Spangler.

Tom's family will receive friends and family for a Memorial Visitation on Friday, February

06, 2026, from 2 – 4 p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. Tom will be laid to rest

privately at a later date. Services are under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home and
