Latoya was born on January 15, 1984, to the late Marsha Bailey. Also preceding her in death were her grandparents, James and Queen Bailey and Freddie Beasley; aunts, Barbara Whittle, JoAnn Beasley; uncles, Tony and Patrick Bailey.
She was educated in Petersburg public schools and worked at Perdue until her health started to decline. Then she started to do Door Dash, which she loved. She loved planning parties, cooking, music, her cars, shopping and spoiling herself. She was very outspoken and said exactly what she meant!
She leaves to carry on her legacy; a son, Kenyada Bailey, Sr.; a daughter-in-love, Tenaya Whitfield; father, Freddie Beasley (Gaila); mother-in-love, Josephine Gholson; two sisters, Courtney Bailey (John), Shamara Epps; brothers, Fredrick Bailey Sr. (Michelle), Cordell Jackson, Dionte Epps; grandmother, Shirley Beasley (Chester); aunts, Shirley Jones, Laverne Bailey, Delores Pulliam, and Patrice Shuford; uncles, devoted, Kip Bailey Sr., Larry Beasley (Tina), Cleveland Beasley (Valerie), Milton Beasley, Leon Beasley (Toya); grandchildren, MyAzia, Kenyada Jr.; nieces, Madison, Lauren, Zanaija, Zamara; nephews, Fredrick Jr., Jamari; devoted cousins, Michelle Saunders, Patrick Noggin and Jermaine Woods; devoted friends, Alphonso Whitfield, Meka W., Wanda, Angie, Shimeka, Reginae, Yolonda, Mike, Michelle, and Tamike, Shamicka; God parents, Jennie Baugh, John Smith and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to name.. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00p.m., Saturday, September 13th, at the Petersburg Chapel of Bland Funeral Homes.
