Laura Monaghan

Laura Monaghan, 37 of Old Bridge, New Jersey passed away, on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at her home in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Born Wednesday, February 11, 1987 in Staten Island, New York, Laura was the daughter of Christine and Daniel Monaghan.
Laura was raised in Old Bridge, she attended Shepherd Elementary, Salk Middle School, and was a graduate of Old Bridge High School. Laura was active as a child, playing softball, and taking dance and gymnastics classes. But it was a trip to the Rocking Horse Ranch with her family that would ignite her love for horses. Laura would become a skilled rider, winning many different competitions on her horses. She would then go on to teach others how to ride.
Her love of animals wasn't just limited to horses. Laura also loved her dogs, Petey,Toby and Dingo. Her love of animals would lead to a career as a Veterinary Technician. She loved her job helping animals, and most recently worked at Raintree and Sayrebrook Veterinary Hospital. When Laura wasn't caring for animals she enjoyed spending her time listening to music, drawing and painting, and spending time with her family and friends. Laura will be deeply missed by all those that love her.
Laura is survived by her beloved parents, Christine and Daniel, by her caring siblings, Michael and his wife Katie, Danielle and her husband Billy, and by her caring maternal grandmother, Josephine Petti, her loving boyfriend, Tom Young, and her loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
