Laura Styer, age 54, of North Coventry Township, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in the Pottstown Hospital. Born on October 26, 1969 in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Marlene (Berkey) Wismer of East Coventry Township.
Laura was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, class of 1988. She adored her pets throughout the years, especially her current pup Maggie, current cat Max, and her dog and cats who had gone before her including Lily and Pebbles. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Luke Bryan, attending yard sales, color-by-numbers projects, and recently had taken up gardening. She also enjoyed taking walks in nature.
In addition to her parents, Laura is survived by three sons, Eric, husband of Christina Styer, Michael Styer, and Sean Styer; two grandsons, Nicholas and Alexander Styer; one sister, Ora, wife of Darryl Moran; a niece and two nephews, Briana Mann, Logan Moran, and Bryan Moran; and one great-niece, Alana Mann.
A celebration of life will be held for Laura on July 17th at 3:00 pm at the Parkerford Baptist Church, 92 Baptist Church Rd., Spring City, PA 19475 in place of a traditional funeral service or viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to help in the fight against Merkel cell carcinoma by visiting merkelcell.org/donate, or to the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine by visiting pennmedicine.org/cancer/giving. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
