Ms Lauren Yetter Matesic age 39, Newark, Delaware passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
Born in Swedesboro, New Jersey, a daughter of Rose Marie Caputo and Gordon Kurt Yetter; she was one of three children.
Lauren grew up in her hometown of Ballston Lake, New York and received her diploma from Allen County Community College, Iola, Kansas. She had been employed in customer service in food and beverage industry.
Lauren loved animals especially horses and helping people as much as she could. She enjoyed music and loved playing the violin. She was known for her warmth of her smile.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Yetter who passed in December, 2022. Lauren is survived by her two children, Daylan and Ethan Matestic; her mother, Rose M. Caputo; her sister, Linsey R. Preissner ; her brother, Luke Yetter; her two close cousins, Ryan Caputo and Michael Gross and her companion, Jeff Moore.
Memorial contributions in Lauren's memory and honor may be made to an animal rescue or horse program of your choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services, located at 2100 Rodman Road, Wilmington, Delaware. A memorial service will follow and begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
