Laurie Lee Bright, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, passed away August 18, 2025 at the age of 72. The daughter of Charles and Ola Mae Dunivan, she was born October 9, 1952 in Hazel Park, Michigan. She worked in accounting most of her life. She and Robert were married for 53 years. They lived on a farm in Oregon for several years. That was a dream for both of them. She and Robert moved back to Arkansas in 2000. She was happy to be around her family again. She always enjoyed baking with her grandkids. She was always a tomboy who loved her pants and pajamas. She was happiest sitting in her bed, comfy in her pajamas eating her toast. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Eric Dunivan. Survivors include her husband, Robert Bright, her children, Kara Perryman and husband Nick and Gordon Bright; her grandchildren, Jordan Bright and husband Daniel, Kelsey Bright, Kiersten Bright, Payton Perryman, Liz Montondo, Joe Montondo, Kayden Perryman and Natalie Montondo; her sister, Sheila Smith and husband Barry, her nieces and nephews, Evan Smith and wife Leah, Meredith New and husband Brent, Chris Dunivan, Grant Dunivan and wife Robin, and Tyler Dunivan. Funeral service will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2pm at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rex Griffin officiating. I have known Laurie sixty plus years. My husband, Jack, worked for her dad and several years later we bought the business from him. Laurie used to babysit my two daughters, Terri and Karen. Laurie has always had such a sweet and personable personality. My heart and prayers goes out to the family. I know that she will be greatly missed. May our God put his loving arms around each of you comforting your grieving hearts, give you the strength and encouragement as you need it.
