Laurie A. St. Amour 63, of Belvidere passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 surrounded by family.
Laurie was born in Burlington, VT on March 25, 1961 the daughter of Raymond Bleau and Pauline Bleau (Poquette). Laurie grew up in Colchester, VT and moved and graduated from Essex High School in 1979. Laurie went on to marry the love of her life Michael St. Amour on August 27,1983.
Laurie spent her adult years as a homemaker, wife, and grandmother. Through the years Laurie was "mom" to many, her and her husband's home had an open door policy and they would help anyone that needed it within their means. In her later years, she earned the affectionate name "meme", a title she embraced wholeheartedly, welcoming everyone whether related by blood or not, into her extended family with open arms. Laurie loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Laurie is survived by her two daughters Michelle St. Amour and husband Ty of Belvidere, and Valerie Richard and husband Michael of Essex. Laurie is also survived by 12 grandkids Jesse, Marah, Maddie, Talon, Kaiden, Mylee, Riley, Kurtis, Raegan, Mary, Destiny, Jadyn; and three great-granddaughters Karter, Charli, and Violet; her sisters Ann, Rose, and Jan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and "adopted" family members.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 22nd from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Milton Eagles Club, 42 Centre Dr, Milton VT.
