Lawrence William Raiha

Lawrence W. Raiha, age 88, of Woodhaven, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan.
Born on December 29, 1936, in Wells, Minnesota, he was the son of Jonas and Elizabeth (Elmer) Raiha. On August 22, 1966, he married Norma (Peters) Raiha in Toledo, Ohio.
Lawrence was employed with R.L. Polk for more than 30 years, serving as a National Production Manager before retiring.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was deeply committed to his faith community. He enjoyed golf, tennis, and watching football, especially Purdue games. He also loved watching the Purdue University Choir perform. Lawrence was actively involved with the Carlson Athletic Department, assisting in various activities that supported and promoted youth athletics.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma F. Raiha; and his siblings Darryl, Kathy, and Brian.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Vicki (Jesse) Attaway and Todd (Courtney) Raiha; his grandchildren, Jonas Raiha, Nicholas Nolan, Avery Moren, and Rowdy Moren; and his sisters, Gloria and Thais.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel, on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Rick Hogan officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Wells, Minnesota.
