Lawrence R. Swinford, 78, of Anderson, passed away at his residence on October 5, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided all of his life.
Lawrence graduated from Highland High School. He served his country in the United States Army as a cook.
Lawrence was self-employed as a photographer and a wrestling promoter.
He was a member of Mercy Road Church in Anderson, and he loved to garden.
Lawrence is survived by his loving sister, Sheila Geisinger; and brother, Steve Swinford. Also, surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larence Earl and Deloris Mae Swinford; and sisters, Sharon Webb, Lacinda Swinford, and Fayrene Scott.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.
Services will follow visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Alexander officiating.
Burial of his remains will take place in Huntsville Cemetery at a later date.
