Leon Edmond Davis

Leon was born August 24, 1947 to Lorillard Hubert Davis and Winifred Virginia Palmer Davis. He was the youngest of 3 siblings.
Leon started his professional career at OGE and retired from there after many years of service.
He married Sally Wheelis and they had two boys, Steve Davis and Tommy Davis.
As a child Leon loved sports and anything that could go fast.
He later married Linda Davis August 24, 1991. Together they travelled all over the United States enjoying their love of horses. He, as Linda was an avid animal lover – no matter what the animal he always loved helping strays.
Leon's love for racing cars carried over later in his life as well. He never gave up his passion for putting together cars and racing. In his spare time, you could always find him tinkering in his shop on his Anglia race car, motorcycle or his panel truck. His other hobby was collecting unique items. He loved going to thrift stores and swap meets. Not sure if it was the actual items he was in search for or the best deal in town! He would always tell you he had collected over 2400 DVD's and 600 cast iron skillets.
Leon was preceded in death by his wife Linda Davis and nephew Troy Word. He is survived by his two sisters, Marlene Word (Jack) and Mary Ellen Nusz (Gene). Two sons, Steve Davis and wife Stacy, Tommy Davis and wife Christina. Three step-daughters Dani Johnston and husband Grant, Carrie Shockley and husband Dale. And Jami Elzy. Grandchildren, Seth Johnston,
Jordan and husband Jon Arnold, Kale & wife Macee Davis, Nate and wife Amaya Davis, Elizabeth and Sawyer Davis, Camille Pritchard and husband Garrett, Jake Shockley and wife Holly, Tori Pickens and husband Will, Heather Mantooth and husband Chad, Haley Goins and husband Sean.
Nieces and nephews, Scott and Pat Word, Wendy and Robert Wilkerson, Cindy and (Danny) Cartmill, Jeff and Daphne Nusz.
Leon also leaves behind 19 great grandchildren.
