Leonard A. Kaczorowski

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Bavarian Comfort Care in Bridgeport, Michigan. Age 80 years. Son of the late Leonard Kaczorowski and Alice (Dimond) Gittins, Leonard was born July 26, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan. He married Joan E. Mikolaizyk, his loving wife of 41 years, on October 1, 1982. She was called home to God on November 6, 2023.
Leonard was a member of Saginaw Valley Radio Control Club Inc. He was a private pilot, avid boater and car enthusiast. Leonard also enjoyed traveling all over the world. He especially enjoyed spending time with the family. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Sue Rick, Saginaw; Vince (Dina Castillo) Smith, Fort Mill, South Carolina; Sheryl Behling, Essexville; Cathy McAllister, Bay City; his grandchildren, Cortney (Aaron) Bugbee, Nicole Hales, Christopher (Amy) Rick, Eric McAllister, Alicia McAllister, Josie Smith; four great-grandchildren; his sister and brothers, Beverly (Dave) Maciejewski, Robert Kaczorowski, and Doug (Kim) Kaczorowski; many nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Ray Gittins, stepmother, Geraldine Kaczorowski and a brother, Christopher Kaczorowski.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate the service. Honoring Leonard's wishes cremation will follow, and private entombment will take place in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
